Interacts daily with government clients in order to meet the technical requirements for new initiatives.

Develop client software to enhance already published Web Services.
Integrate the Web Services using Apache Camel routing in the Enterprise Service Bus layer.
Deploy the Web Services into the development and test environments.
Collaborate with other development and integration team members to ensure Java technologies are properly implemented and maintained.
Engage in business and workflow process modeling and business reengineering using Curam.
Engage in the development of Curam Suite and design/develop various systems using Web Services deployed in the Enterprise Business Bus Layer.
Provide technical support to assigned systems by being available on-call and responding within required timeframes.
Create/maintain technical documentation and provide reports as needed.
This individual will be working closely with OCTO and its partner agencies to ensure the agencies priorities are met. This is a position in the DC Access System (DCAS) project.

8. Troubleshoots problems.

This position is housed under the Office of the Chief Technology Officer in direct support of the DC Access System (DCAS).
The Office of the Chief Technology Officer is looking for a candidate who must be customer service oriented, have strong team and interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task when required. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are a mandatory requirement. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing current challenges, partnering with leadership to help develop strategic plans and initiatives to address priorities, identifying change opportunities and recommending supporting initiatives, planning and leading workshops for gap analysis and training sessions. The Analyst will be required to analyze, validate and support implementation of requirements for DCAS projects from inception to conclusion. Evaluate current processes and recommend areas for improvement, optimization, development and or maintenance through analyzing system performance, known system issues, existing documentation, and supporting technology related to business processes. In this role you will also develop, motivate, and provide mentorship to junior staff in a way that fosters a team environment and helps enable staff to fulfill their objectives.
The incumbent will become an integral part of the DCAS Team, making every problem associated to the platform a problem of their own and will demonstrate the required initiative and critical thinking abilities necessary to resolve all problems and challenges accordingly.

The Core duties associated with the role are as follows:
Work with the business stakeholders and end users to elicit and elaborate requirements.
Develop and apply business and requirements analysis strategies.
Provide technical guidance in requirements analysis techniques.
Work with the development team to explain the requirements.
Develop and document the Functional, Technical, and Performance requirements for the program.
Provide business area and technical expertise to management and stakeholders to facilitate planning, set direction, define business initiatives, and develop solutions to business information systems needs and requirements.
